The HMC offers free, guided tours of the museum. HMC docents are trained in the history of the Holocaust and provide valuable information and insights that augment the museum's exhibits. On Sundays the tour culminates in a meeting with a Holocaust survivor. This part of the tour gives visitors a unique opportunity to learn first-hand the experiences of a survivor and to freely ask any questions they might have.
Tours are divided into groups of 20-30 people so the experience is intimate and personal. Tours are approximately two hours long. An hour and a half is spent with a docent leading the group through the museum and the last half-hour is spent with the survivor speaking to the group.
Guided tours other than the public tours, must be pre-arranged. Please contact our Tour Coordinator
