The Holocaust Memorial Center has established a Speakers Bureau designed to address those groups unable to personally attend the internationally-acclaimed institution.
The Bureau utilizes the expertise of highly-trained docents who present and explain a 30-45 minute Powerpoint about the Holocaust. It endeavors to teach about the senseless murder of millions, and why everyone must respect and stand up for the rights of others if the world is to prevent future discrimination, hate crimes and genocide.
By special arrangement only, a Holocaust survivor can accompany your speaker for your group or school. We recommend that each group have some knowledge of the Holocaust before the presentation.
To request a speaker for your school or community event, contact Tour Coordinator Gail Cohen at 248.553.2400 x110 and together we can determine which speaker would be best suited for your needs. There is no cost for this service, however donations are greatly appreciated.
