Create a Fund

Brett Mountain Donor OpportunitiesNamed funds are a way for you to designate your support for your specific area of interest, such as education, exhibits, survivor testimony, docent training or special programming. You can name a fund with your own name, or in memory or in honor of a loved one.

One such fund is our Winsen/Feldman/Goldfine Library Fund. Hilda Winsen always enjoyed reading, so after her untimely passing in a 1996 auto accident, her brother Leon Siegel and sister Gertie Feldman created a Library Fund in her memory. Interest from the fund is used to purchase important reference materials for our Library/Archives.

Over the years, Fay and Leon Siegel, Gertie and Bill Feldman, and their family have added to the fund. Family members include Michael and Elizabeth Siegel, Dennis and Elissa Siegel Paul, Richard and Randa Feldman and Michael and Caron Feldman Goldfine. When Gertie Feldman passed away, the family decided to rename the fund the Winsen/Feldman/Goldfine Library Fund.

“The Holocaust Memorial Center and its Library/Archives are very important to our community,”

Leon Siegel is quoted above. Mr. Siegel, who is a retired real estate broker and a Korean War veteran, has been a member of the Center since it first opened. We thank him and Mrs. Siegel for their decades of support and their commitment to improving our Library/Archive!
